Don't forget--Our "July 4th Party" is on Friday during normal practice times.  Please attend  your practice time and wear red, white, and blue.  Lots of games and relays.  **We still need 5 watermelons!

Wednesday:  No am practice, Home meet with Highpoint.  Report time 2:45, Meet begins at 4:00.  PLEASE SIGN UP TO HELP!!!  If you have not volunteered at a meet, now is your chance.  Find yourself a buddy and work together. 

 

Thursday:  Practice, stroke and turn

 

Friday:  Practice

 

Saturday:  Meet in Socorro. Report time is 8:00am, meet begins at 9:00.  Plan on the meet lasting until around 3:00.  There will be 4-5 teams at this meet.  Bring your shade and chairs.  The drive is approximately 1:25 from Four Hills, so plan accordingly.  There is a map at the www.fhccgators.com website.  (Thanks Dave Baur!)

 

During the meets, we are asking that the parents not stand behind the starting blocks with their children.  The coaches will make sure that your kids get in their races. We would like to try to reduce some of the traffic behind the blocks.

 

We are still looking for parents to help run the team next year.  We are looking for officers as well as committee chairs.  A list has been posted at the pool of different volunteer positions.  Please ask if you have any questions about what each chair does. 

 

*******Many people have asked about a coach for next year.  Tammy will be retiring from APS and coaching both swim teams at the end of the next school year.  Please don't worry.  Tammy is going to find an appropriate coach to fill her position. We won't know for a while, so please be patient.  Remember, it's only July 1st.
