Hi All,
First, congratulations to our 8 and Under swimmers for a fantastic meet this past Saturday! You guys were awesome! And thanks to the parents, and many older brothers and sisters who came, WORKED, and cheered for our little people. Good job!


*I have a safety yellow t-shirt from the 13-14 age group. If you are missing your shirt, find me tomorrow!
*Since we have a weird week, TUESDAY is the last day to sign up for Friday breakfast burritos.


Monday, July 1
7:30 - 11 and up practice
8:30 - 10 and under warm-up
9:00 - 10 and under practice
10:00 - PRE-TEAM CANCELLED (rescheduled for Tuesday, 7/2)
11:00 - STROKE AND TURN CANCELLED
10:30 - MONSTERS UNIVERSITY, Highridge Theatre, Indian School and Tramway
Tomorrow is our movie day with the Highpoint Sharks! If you RSVP'd and paid last week, try to get to the theater as close to 10:00 a.m. as you can be there. For kids at the 9:00 practice,I bet Coach Hannah will let you get out of practice a few minutes early to get dry, dressed, and to the theater. On Mondays, candy is $2.00! Be sure and thank a Shark tomorrow!


Tuesday, July 2 - FOURTH OF JULY PLAY DAY!! (Last day to sign up for Friday burritos, and for tomorrow's swim meet!)

Wednesday, July 3 - NO PRACTICE
FHCC AND MIDTOWN @ TANOAN
Report time: 6:45 a.m.
Warm-up time: 7:00 a.m.
Meet starts: 7:45 a.m.


Since this meet is with two other teams, space will be a little more crowded than the first time we were at Tanoan. Bring chairs and shade, food and drinks. It's possible that their grill will be serving breakfast burritos like last time, but I don't know that for sure. Remember that Midtown is in our district, so it will be great to have the chance to swim against them a couple of times in preparation for our district meet. (Our district is FHCC, JCC, ACC, and Midtown.)


I need 4 timers for Wednesday's meet. We have 2 lanes, so we need two timers per half. Sign up at the pool or email me to help out!


Thursday, July 4 - NO PRACTICE OR STROKE AND TURN! HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!


Friday, July 5

We don't have another meet until Thursday, 7/11. Even though we have a relatively easy, fun week ahead, remember that we only have TWO MORE MEETS between now and District. Keep working hard at practice - now is not the time to let up!
